Heyo!

this is a site update more of but also just a kinda rambly thing, thus why im posting it here and not in my site log (also its technically not done)

So a new ongoing part of my site that I am editing is going to be translating everything (mainly text and a few graphics) into (brazilian) portuguese. This is mainly something I want to do for accessibility and also connetion, as I do wanna meet some brasilieros online. But also, it is a good way for me to practice the language. Im currently learning and writing and trasnalting things from english to portuguese is helpful because it allows me to practice sentence streucture and whatnot.

Also: I do plan to at some point make a spanish translation also, but since I dont know nearly as much about spanish, im doing portuguese first.

I've got a simple button switching system for it, using variables similar to the ones I use for navlinks. Instead of having a seperate site for each language, it just swaps out the english for the portuguese. Its quick and simple and doesn't take a lot of bandwidth (at least for me)
